Scanner problem

Just upgraded from Win98 to WinXP (home) and it won't recognize the scanner.
It's connected with a SCSI card, but the card doesn't even show up in Device
Manager. I thought I might try physically uninstalling the card,
re-booting, shutting down, re-installing the card and re-booting again. Do
you think this will make it recognize the card? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Any other suggestions would be too!

Go to your scanner manufacturs website and find out if
they have XP drivers for you model scanner
