Does anyone know if the “Article ID: 960496-The Monitor May Not Turn Off on a
Windows XP-based Computer even though you set the monitor to Turn Off after a
period of inactivity†also applies to a Scanner Light.
I have a Visioneer One Touch 5800 USB Scanner that I have set to turn off
after 20 minutes of inactivity but the scanner light does not turn off. It
remains on all the time I have the Computer turned on.
On my previous Dell Dimension 4700 computer with Windows XP Pro, SP2 the
Scanner light did turn off after a period of inactivity.
Thanks for any replies.
