Does anyhone know of a generic scanner copy utility that would work with an
Epson 2450 Perfection? The copy utility that came with it does not have any
way to easily adjust the contrast of the scanned image before printing. I
have several hundred old letters (some written in pencil) that I'd like to
scan and print.

thanks,
Steve

Check out Art-Copy Consumer Edition. Simple compier utility and is pretty
cheap.

We also have a business edition that has a ton more features, but cost much
more.

Try Irfanview. Get plug-ins. On Tucows, plug-ins are at the bottom of page.

The Main site is http://www.Irfanview.com but has exceeded the download
quota at this time.

Steve:

Try iCarbon. It has a contrast control. I don't have the URL so you'll
have to use Google.
