Scanner & Camera wizard

I would like to find the exe file for this wizard. When
I insert my compact flash into my card reader this file
does not automaticall open and I would like to open it
manually.

I have MSFT Windows XP Professional. Thanks

Actually, you can right click wiaacmgr.exe and
send a shortcut to your desktop if you like.

I double clicked on wiaacmgr.exe and nothing happened. I then make a shortcut and put it on the desktop, but still nothing happened. Do you know why?

Another way to execute it is go to...Start / Run...
Type..."wiaacmgr" (without the quotes)...OK.

Did you see a dialog box that says, "The Computer
Cannot Detect The Scanner Or Camera".

Did you have your Scanner or Camera connected
when you clicked the .exe?

If your digital camera or scanner is not recognized...
go to...Control Panel / Scanners and Cameras /
Add an imaging device...
