Scandalous taskbar wtf?

What the scandal?! THe task bar in windows XP is not auto-
hiding even though it is set to do so. What the scandal is
going on hELP!

Do you have another autohide taskbar (eg from Creative perhaps at the top of
the screen). You can only have one active at a time.
