I have just downloaded the Microsoft Antispyware and scanned my pc. A number
of threats were detected and I followed the recommendations. One of these was
that it would remove the Kaza programs. Not a problem as I don't use that
anymore, however in removing the files it has also removed the various songs
I had downloaded some time ago within MyMusic directory within Kaza. Any way
I can retrieve these ? ( I know that ethically I should not have down loaded
in the first place, but my argument is that it allowed me to listen to more
tracks of people I had heard on the radio or had read about, and as a result
of these downloads I must have purchased about 50 cds or so ).

If you chose to quarantine Kazaa, these files should be recoverable, via
tools,
spyware scan, manage spyware quarantine.

If you chose remove, I've not seen any success stories posted here, even
using un-delete software.
