Scan To Email

Hi all,thank's for such a great group.I'm looking for a free
software or a cheapie that's easy for the novice to use to be able to scan
to email.My scanner will only send it through fax. Thank You,and happy
freeware hunting.

If you have it, I think that Microsoft Word 2000 does just this.
'Insert' an image from a scanner then 'send to' (on the File menu) an e-mail
recipient as an attachment.
I've never tried it but it looks feasible.

You can't save the image, and attach it to your email?
 
Hi! again tried the attachment several different ways,all I get is a box
saying open in trio fax,then i went through those steps, and setting up
files still nothing,The file goes to mail, but when I tried to open it same
thing unable to open in trio fax.I use windows 93SE

Save the image as a normal, nonproprietary file like a jpg, and attach
it you your mail.
