Scan stalled on specific file

The program has stopped on the following and won't proceed. What should I do?

C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
 
Hi Dave,

Strange, that's a standard Ms filename for OE. Check the properties of the
file, make sure it hasn't been modified. Mine is 59KB (with a modified
date of 8/10/2004 5:00AM. In file properties/security Admins have
everything except special permissions, Users have only Read and Read &
Execute. Mine is version 6.0.2900.2180. Are you running this on an Admin
authority logon or a non-privileged logon, and what version of Defender
from Help/About, is it current?

If those settings/numbers above don't match , I'd send that file to the
online scanners and see what comes back:

As a temporary circumvention, put the outlook express folder in the do not
scan these files under advanced options (Tools->Options).
