SCAN RESULTS WINDOW IS NOT WORKING in Microsoft Antispyware

I cannot get the scan results window to show after checking that option. The
checkmark will stay UNTIL I hit the SAVE button. Just wondering if this is a
well known bug that will have to be fixed,and OR if anyone has the solution.

I discovered the same things by chance this morning and then looking at the
log discovered that the software had detected two "Severe" risk pieces of
Software on 13th September and hadn't infomed me or deleted them. It isn't
much help if it leaves malicious software in place for a month and a half!!
One program had vanished from the daily scan on 13th October (how did that
happen? the program didn't report it had deleted it!) and I told it to delete
the other one today (31st October).
 
One possiblity for the vanishing threat is that it was a false positive,
corrected by a later set of definitions.

Here's what I'd recommend for "settings not sticking."

1) uninstall Microsoft Antispyware
2) delete \program files\microsoft antispyware and all subfolders.

You will lose access to all quarntined items, history, and customized
settings

3) reinstall Microsoft Antispyware.
