Hi!

I have scanned a lot of slides and saved in raw format, then I scanned
from these files to generate jpegs. Interestingly, some of the jpegs
have some scan lines from one of the edges shifted to the other side.

TO explain it in a different way: Some jpegs look like I have cut away
the top/left border of say a view mm and glued it to the bottom/right
edge. Something like ROT ;-)

Has anybody experienced this problem before?

debian/sid, vuescan 7.6.82

Thanks a lot and best wishes

Norbert

I've seen it a few times on Win98/ME when the CPU couldn't follow the I/O. In other words you were
doing too much other stuff while scanning and your 'puter is too slow. This problem went away when
I got Win2k.
