When I schedule a scan it fails to terminate and goes into
a loop of scans. I can manually end the scan. This doesn't
happen when I run a manual scan.
Is this a bug or did I miss a fix in the forum?

Possibly, are you running additional programs during the scheduled scans?
Ensure that just MSAS is running during the scan.

In attempting to test your suggestion I found that MSAS
won't accept a PM shedule on my system. It keeps defaulting
to AM. any suggestions on that part of it?

hhmm, well, it is a buggy feature and is not guranteed to work the way you
want it. I want just set it to scan and leave it, because you are just not
gonna get your way with it. Wait until beta 2 to get a more reliable
experience with setting scheduled scans.

Mine runs at 2 AM every morning... the default. I'm usually up. It usually
only runs about 10 minutes. I don't let it get in my way. I just keep
doing whatever I'm doing.

Depending on the speed of your PC, some users just have to let it be, thats
why I just leave my PC on overnight and let it do its job. I still get
Virtual Memory low errors.
