scan disk

cannot complete scan disk or defrag..keeps star stop start
stop etc and have tried everything..pls email me directly
at (e-mail address removed) as cannot read these
boards..confusing..pls help...have exhausted all mt
resources and am ready to FLIP OUT.....lol

Run scandisk and defrag is Safe Mode with all your peripherals off.
Hit F5 or F8 during reboot to get into Safe Mode.
