SCAN DISK AND DEFRAG

When I try to scan disk, it won't take. keep repeating.
No effect. Same with Defrag. Windows 20000

Had this prob. once before. We did some tricky thing and
got it to work.

CAn you advise. Thanks

when you start up your computer,at the bottom of the

screanat start up of win 2000 hit the f8 key at top of
your keyboard.then hit arrows to select start up in safe
mode than hit enter.every thing will not look right when
the computer starts up(colors and size might be off) but
it should be able to run the programs you want.when you
start your computer everything will be back to normal with
normal boot.
