I ran the Anti-Spyware. There's a lot of features that I
like, especially the Spynet. I did get some hits with it
that I didn't get with my other Software.

I noticed that the total number of files that were
checked was 22,000. I have Norton Anti-Virus which checks
about 150,000, LavaSoft which gets about 110,00 and
Spybot which also checks far more files. What isn't being
checked and why?

The more Software that you run, the better. Provided that
it's top notch. I run Norton, Ad-Aware, Spybot,
Microsoft, CWShredder, BhoDemon. I also have HijackThis,
just in case.

Also, don't always trust the uninstallers that come with
the above-mentioned software. I went through several
versions of Spybot and BhoDemon, using the unistallers
and then downloading the new versions. What I got looked
like some of the spyware that I deleted kept coming back.
I realized that there were files that weren't being
removed by the unistaller that apparently conflicted with
the newer versions. Now, I scan after using the
uninstaller for spybot*.*, cwshred*.*, etc.

Run a Full System Scan in Safe Mode and selection Scan Options > Full System
Scan and choose the appropriate folders you want to scan. Multiple and
limited account scanning is not supported in this beta release of
Antispyware.
