scan aborts

I installed the product on a friends computer and tried 5
times to complete a scan. Each time the system gets to
the same place - it has identified 6 spyware items - and
then aborts with a reboot of the computer. Any ideas?

Yes. MSAS need some help from other tools.

First Lavasofts Adaware

Also download CCleaner for junk removal within all temporarily folders.

Also restart in safe mode and scan if above doesnt work.
Press F8 during reboot just before Windows flag screen appears.
Choose fullscan with all options checked.
