Is the file to big for a floppy? They can only hold 1.4 MB, PowerPoint
files often exceed this. Check actual the file size.
Is there too much being stored in your PowerPoint file? Check here for
ideas on how to reduce file size:

Some versions of PowerPoint also allow for saving across multiple disks
using the 'Pack & Go' feature. (If you have a CD burner, other versions
also allow for 'Package for CD')
You can also use the multi-disk spanning tool available in WinZip (or some
other compression software's) to use several floppies to hold the
presentation.
Floppy Disks are not a preferred method of transferring presentations due to
their small storage size. You may want to see if any alternative methods
are available to you.
