I have a large hard drive (106GB), so I am able to do large projects. I have a problem with saving my movie as a movie file so it can be compatible with Sonic MyDVD. When I save the movie as a movie file (to My Computer), it saves about 3/4 to 85% of the movie and then stops saving. I know this because the CPU usage goes to zero and the minutes remaining begin to increase instead of decrease. I know that it takes a long time to render into a different format, but I have left it for long periods of time and the program makes no more progess saving the movie. I've heard that some computers weren't designed to have such big hard drives, so when a file or project is that big, it is impossible for the computer to handle it or something, like a safety feature. I don't know. Is there anything I can do?

There's a number of things that might be the issue. See
