saving word files to cd rom

Just getting going with my firstlaptop. I can save to
floppy disc but I need to save to ms word files to CD
ROM . Is their a really easy way?

If you have a cd burner, get a CD-RW disc and format it with IN-CD or other
CD formater and just use it as any other disc. Just point the destination
to the CD-RW drive letter.

Yes. It's called a cd-rw drive.
