Is there anyway to save a Word document in Works so that someone that does not have Word can open the file?

I would recommend helping them download the Word viewer from the MS website
instead. Otherwise, save in .rtf format or .txt format.

As Charles points out, a better solution would be the Word viewer, which
allows users to read and print (but not edit) Word docs. See
