not a movie file" ..i made a movie about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine.
also, I want to be able to save the movie on my usb, then plug my usb into a
mac at my school and play the video on quicktime...how can i do that? THANKS

Maybe you are working with your .mswmm
project file. That's a problem because it's not
a movie format and it doesn't include the
source files. If you save your project in the
..wmv movie format and drag/drop it on your
USB flash drive, you should be able to play it.
(find save instructions below)

And...maybe the following article will help
where the MAC is involved:

Movie Maker 2 - Viewing and Distributing - Apples and Others
http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-Distributing-Apples.html

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next / Next.
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

Good Luck...
