Saving to Movie

I have created a file, but when I try to save it as a movie it starts to save it and then gets stuck...it's fairly big about 18 minutes (1.32 MB). I have tried saving it to diffrent file folders with more space and I am having no luck...can anyone help me?

Some this to try before you star
1.) Shut off screensave
2.) close all programs running in the background, including antiviru
3.) Try defragging your computer before saving

See if this helps... Also not knowing what operating system your using and how much ram you have it's hard to further diagnose. :)
