I have scaned 700+ pics from my yearbook and added pics from my reunion. When
I go to save the file it tells me that it can't be done because the source
file is missing, or not enought HD space, or destination location is missing.
All the pic are showing up on the view and I have 56 Gig left on HD and the
destination location is valid. When I look up the source files, it looks like
it is 1.6 gig. ? does the file expand when being saved to DVD? Any other
suggestions?

I am having the same problem. I have about 400 pictures and have plenty of
room and the location seems to exist. I checked the source files (no easy
feat) and they seem to be ok. I broke the file into smaller sizes to try to
isolate the problem and was able to finalize the movie when doing it that
way. However, I want to have the whole movie. If it is a source file that for
some reason is renamed, how do I identify which one is causing the problem.

400 pictures is a huge project. I would suggest
that you create smaller projects, save each one
as a movie (.wmv or .avi), reimport the saved
movie files and combine them into a single project
by dragging all to the timeline and saving one
last time.

I'm guessing you are running Vista? The following
article explains how to save (publish) your project
as a movie.
