Saving to DVD

I am new to Movie Maker. If I save to a CD, can the format be played in a
DVD player?

Some DVD players will, some won't. Look in the manual for the player and see
what it says about playing VCDs.

Beware that simply copying a movie
file to a CD does not create a VCD.
Special authoring software is required
to create VCDs...here's one example...
there are many more available.

Personally, I've had good results with
InterVideo WinDVD Creator.

My first and ONLY for several weeks, were on DVD. Limits U to shorter shows
of course. No quality problem tho. THink some were SVCD.
I M now able to save to DVD so now I have option of two mediums if needed.

And FYI its been a LOOOONNNNGGGG frustrating journey to get these
done.................................
