My computer keeps telling me that the CD-RW is full or
isn't a CD-RW therefore I can't save anything! Even though
it isn't full and is a CD-RW - Help!

You can not save directly to a CD-RW with only the XP native CD creation
tools. You will need to get Nero's InCD or Roxio's Drag to CD (DirectCD).

Of course you can save directly to a CD-RW with Win XP. Just make sure you have this capability turned on for your burner. Also, make sure you don't have any 3rd party software installed that does the exact same thing as XP is trying to do, or else, neither will work correctly (unless you are very, very, lucky). The third party CD burning programs may or may not work with all software. For example, if you try to backup your files from within Quicken, it works fine with the built-in XP burning option, but it may or may not work with 3rd party software

This is the biggest load of unadulterated bollocks I've ever read! You
cannot save directly to a CD using the native burning applet because it
DOESN'T SUPPORT PACKET WRITING!! Not that you should be saving directly to
any removeable media. I have Easy CD Creator and it works just fine. Yves is
perfectly correct in what he says. You, OTOH, are not.
