I have movie maker 2, and i have in the past been able to save completed movies to discs and to my computer, but lately as i am in the process of saving it it just stops. it will read like 45% and the time left remaining will just keep going up to at least 75 minutes. I have been able to do this before so i don't know what's wrong. i tried saving it to my computer, to the internet, to email, to a cd-r, but always while im in the process of trying to save it, it will just stop and the % will neither increase or decrease. The time however does continue to go up......It will work from anywhere from 1-49%, i haven't been able to get it to save over 49%, and the time will go down when it's working properly, but then ill come back 10 minutes later and it will still be at the same % and the time will just keep going up. Can someone please help me?? i would really like to save this movie i have worked so hard on, to share it, but i cant and i dont know what to do. thank yo

Have you tried saving as a DV-AVI file to see fit that works? If so you can
always use that as a workaround and then reimport the DV-AVI file and
republish to a WMV.
To do this, when you're on the Movie Settings page choose "Other Settings"
and select DV-AVI from the list (if Other Settings isn't visible then click
"Show more choices...").

Then play back the resultant file and see if it's OK. If so then import that
file back into MovieMaker (you want to turn off the "Create clips for video
files" option at the bottom of the Import dialog so you just get it as one
clip). Then drag that down to the timeline and republish it as WMV with your
chosen profile.
