Copy c:\Documents and Settings\<username> to your thumb drive. That should
take care of all your files, and possibly all your user settings as well
(assuming that the developers were smart enough to use configuration files
instead of relying on the Windows registry, and get that user preferences
belong in your home folder and not in the program's folder).

Sorry for the delay. Had to go offshore for a bit.

Can I create a shortcut to my desktop of this Favourites folder? And then
whenever reqd, save from the shortcut?

Can I do the same for the OE folder?

I looked at the folder and it is more than 2 GB. Mine is a 2 GB thumb drive.

I think the Favorites folder itself would have to be put on the Desktop in
order to do a Backup save to another location. If you used a shortcut I
believe only the shortcut would be saved in the backup folder.

The OEBackup program creates a folder in the location of your choice and
backsup the Address Book and all it's folders and the newsgroups.

Thanks for your advise.
I think what I would like to do is to place the Favourites and OE folders on
my desktop for easy backup. Pls tell me where do I find these folders and is
there anything special I have to do to place them on my desktop.
Thanks
