Ok guys, I'm really going to need some help on this one.

Ok so i made a video, it's a science project on Newton's three laws of
motion, but that really doesn't amtter. Anyways, I imported it to my
computer, saved and everything, and i know how to put it on a dvd. My
problem is though, for school, I have to have it on a VHS. Now i know how to
put raw film on a vhs, but can i find a way to get an edited version on a
VHS.

I appreciate any help,
Thanks so much,

Just an idea...but why couldn't you play
the DVD on your TV and record it with
your VHS Recorder?

Play it back to the DV cameras. Go somewhere you can use a VCR, the school
or your friend's house. Using the cables that come with the DV camera, hook
it up to the VCR. Put the DV in video mode, record to VCR.

DV camcorders come with a cable that has one plug on one end and three RCA
plugs on the other, red, white, and yellow.

ok thanks for the help, but how do i play back to dv cameras. Just plug in,
how will it recognize for me to hit record? Like do i play from a windows
media player file?

You can buy a cheap dvd player for 20-30 bucks. Then just play the dvd. A
lot easier than rewinding those dang tapes and a LOT better picture.

thanks, graham, but I have no clue how to do that. I connected my camera to
my computer via USB because that's what it came with. I have a Sony TRV-608
camcorder. I plugged it in and it recognizes it, I just don't know how to
play it on to my camera. Please give more explicit instructions. Thanks.

Without firewire you cannot do this. If the cam is digital and has dv-in,
(firewire in), then you will need to buy the right equipment. You'll have to
check the manual to see if it does this before buying anything.
All cams come with USB leads and it's a pain in the ***, as they are no good
for video.
