saving the favorites list to a cd.

I am backing up my files and would like to know how to backup my favorites
list to a cod. and also I have created rescue disk of my hard drive on 4
floppies ,How can I backup my hard drive to a CD. Thanks very much

.Be sure none of your site names are longer than 30
characters. Insert a floppy into your floppy drive. From
a microsoft Internet explorer window, select file and
then import and export. Click next and highlight "export
favorites". You are not removing your favorites here
merely backing therm up. Click next. Ensure the main
favorites file is highlighted and select next. In the box
titled "export to a file or address", browse to your
floppy drive (a:)name your file and click save, then
next, then finish. Click OK when the successfully
exported box comes up.
 
Another way for your reference, go to Documents and Settings\user
account\Favorites

Copy the entire folder or those contents you wish to another location, and
"user account" is the user's account you logged in doing the browsing.

before backing up your favorites be sure none of the

favorites". You are not removing your favorites just
backing them up. Click next, ensure the main favorites
file is highlighted and select next. In the box
titled "export to a file or address" browse to your
floppy drive (a:). Name the file, click save, then next,
then finish. Click OK when the successfully exported box
comes up.
