Hi:

Somebody was asking about grabbing SWF files. to do this in Windows Internet
Explorer:

Win XP:
from My computer>c:\documents andf settings\[user that is logged in.. ie
ADMIN]\local settings\Temporary internet files\
In there is where all temp visited sites are. Look for the file.swf and copy
it out to a desktop.

*You may have to turn off the hide system folders option.

Win 98:
My Computer>c:\windows\temporary internet files\
Look in here for the [file].swf. Copy to desktop.

Other ways that work are to get Star downloader, or whatever the other ones
are, and configure it and add a SWF in the download file types in the
options.

Hope this helps whoever it was who was asking.

A different take...

The way I usually do it (in IE, but the principle is the same for any
browser) is to view the document source and search for ".swf". Once I
find the link the page uses, I just copy it and send it to my download
manager to grab it.

If you don't have .swf files associated with your browser (I don't) it's
still possible to drag & drop them onto the browser and have them play.
