Anything other than wav files less than 100kb (normal setting) are not
imbedded, but linked. The trick is this:
1. Put all linked sound files in the exact same folder as the presentation.
2. Insert your sounds as you did before.
3. Open Windows Explorer, browse to the folder, select all the files (CTRL-A
will "Select All")
4. Click the "File" menu and select the "Winzip" option.
5. Send the zipped file through the mail (taking a look at the file size
first to make sure it is okay)
If you don't have WinZip loaded on your machine, you can get a trial version
downloaded from the Internet (at least you could).
If you have questions, holler back!

Hi! My son created a presentation which has sound files inserted in it.
He needs to show it at school, but they are not allowed to bring their own
discs to school (security, viruses, etc.). The problem is that, when I send
it in an e-mail to his school address (so that he can run it on a school
compute) the slide show runs, but without sound) - the sound will not come
through at school. Is this because the files are not really saved as part
of the program and are running off my hard drive at home when we run it at
home? How can I save it so that he can get the complete show at school,
ie. - the sound files saved as part of the program? The sound at school is
not the problem, as they do have sound capabilities. THANKS!!
