Whenever you change the width of a columnn in a table or
query Access always save that information. However the
size of table and query window always expands the size of
the Access main windows when you reopen the table or
query.
When working with a project with many different tables
and queries you often have the windows organized just
like you want them, but then whenever you open a table or
query the new window overlay everything - quite
irritating.
Is there any way to get Access to keep the size and
position of the window as you set it the last time?
I find Access a really good tool, but in some areas it's
so backward, like the above mentioned and e.g. the
inability to save the textformat of a querys SQL view
(just saving all character like simple spaces and new
lines would do the trick). Considering how many versions
of this program has now been released, they should have
taken care of that by now.
