I want ALL messages sent from a particular account to be saved in a
folder other than the sent folder.

I can setup a rule to save a COPY in a different folder, but I still
end up with the message in the sent folder.

Is there any way around this problem?

I'm using Outlook 2002

Thanks

Yes, there is. Turn off the automatic saving of sent messages to the Sent
Items folder in the Options dialog then:
- setup all the specific rules you want for sent items to copy them to where
you want
- setup one final rule for sent mail items with no selection criteria
(Outlook will warn you that it will affect all mail items) to copy those
remaining items into the Sent Mail folder

Make sure your rules end in Stop Processing actions also
