Does anyone know how to save the results of a search?

Hi

If you are talking about saving out the file names/paths for the files found,
the built-in search doesn't support this. Some alternatives:

A)
You can use the free search utility Agent Ransack for this, it is superior
compared to the built in search.

http://www.agentransack.com/index.asp

Agent Ransack can save the search result to a file (or clipboard), as text,
comma separated text or tab separated text.

When searching for text inside files, Agent Ransack is also able to do a
preview
of the lines the text was found in (just do a single click on the found file).
Also you can use regular expression on both the file name part and the find
text in files part.

B)
Freeware: Save and Copy File Names Shell Extension
http://www.onlinecoursetools.com/delphi.asp

From Startup/Search click - not the search functon - click the advanced
Outlook Search routine. You may start it from there, don´t bothe to open
Outlook.
Define your search carefully, there are a lot of possibilities. When done,
just print the result.
