Saving pictures into the website

I have had a horror show of problems with my website lately, so here I am
asking for help. Thank you all of you in advance, I was very excited when I
found this board - I am very new to FrontPage and to web design in general. I
originally made the website from FrontPage and had absolutly no problem, now
6 months later as I am trying to update the page with a new design. First I
could not get the site to publish, the old site stayed up. I finally, with
some help, got over that hurtle. Now when the page loads all you see is a
blue screen with no picture and no link. On my computer it opens fine but
pulls all the files out of my computer. (hence the reason its blue on all my
friends comps I suppose) After playing around on FrontPage for a while I
discovered a little error that may be my demise. All of the pictures on all
of the pages (save one) have not saved sepratly into the image file. The
following quote is one I found in the help files about saving pictures. When
I save the pages, it does not prompt for this action.

"If you have added graphics, ActiveX controls, sound files, or other objects
to the page, you will be prompted to save them to the same location as the
page."

So, finally, here is my question.. or rather questions.

1. How do I save the image files to the same location as the page? Am I
simply saving them wrong, or is there a bigger problem?

2. Am I also saving the whole page wrong for them not to come up normally on
other computers?

I hope I am making sense. Thank you again for all your help, it means alot.

also, the site is whiterosetheatre.com if you need a reference

After going through the same kinds of problems, I now set up a single
folder for all graphics in my website. Of course I named it
"graphics." When I want to add a graphic to the site, I first IMPORT
the graphic file into the graphic folder. Then I just point to the
graphic in the folder when I want to put it on a page. Works
perfectly.

Import all your images to your Web before using them on a page.

k I tried to Import but everytime I hit Ok I get a message saying that some
or all of my files have identical names...
I changed names and whatnot - but still got the same message

First of all, why are you suing .png images ... Best to use jpegs or gifs.
Take all spaces out of file and folder names ... represented by %20 in the
code.
frontpagetext.png is a huge file ... 880.41KB
The whole page is just two big pngs!
Let text be text and photos be photos ... no need to have all that text in
that image.
Learn to resize and optimize your photos correctly. Even those link buttons
haven't been optimized.

all the pages are like that...and I can't read the buttons anyway.

Rosered...this is not the way to create a web, not many people will wait
around for those giant images to load. Not to mention if you want to change
a word or two you have to edit a giant image?
