Hello...
I recently published a point of sale application for a
client of mine which has worked great. I created 25 user
accounts to have access to this application, however a
handful of accounts are being prompted for passwords at
launch. The 2000 TS is fully pathched running the latest
RDP client on the desktop. In the RDP client, all the
settings are the same for all clients at the desktop
level. I have selected save password on the RDP client.
The problem is when the save password box is checked, and
the user launches the shortcut on the desktop, it
immediately connects then issues a warning that an
incorrect password was entered. After clicking OK, the
logon box is revealed asking the user to manually enter
the password. (the User ID is retained) After manually
entering the password the application launches flawlessly.
In the TS settings I have unchecked "always prompt for
password". This app works for 90% of the users, but not
for a handfull. I have removed and recreated accounts, but
the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea what may
be the problem?
Many thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sean
