saving pages

hi,
i save pages as i finish them to a disc for safety but when i have FP open
the file, it comes back with NO pictures. my wife's an artist and the site
will be for her art. even if i save the pages to 2nd hard drive, it comes
back without pictures! am trying to save pages someplace other than right in
FP web for safety. also, when i open pages very often the background color
is missing and some items on the page have changed!

The proper way to back up your web is to "Publish" the entire web to a backup location.
Saving pages to a location different than the web simply saves the page,
it does not save the structure of the web.

So make your changes to the web normally, and then File > Publish the "whole thing"
to the backup location.
