FP 2000, Windows 2000. This just began happening after
switching to Windows 2000. After making a new page in FP
2000, sometimes, but not always, but more times than not,
after clicking save the hour glass pops up and the new
file will not save. The only way to get out of this is to
click on the "x" on the save box or right click on the FP
box in the tool bar. Then the "Program is not responding
box pops up" and all you can do is "End Task" and it shuts
down FP.
Thanks in advance - web sight - www.mwbt.com

You're going to have to explain your terms, I'm afraid. What do you mean
"after switching to Windows 2000?" In other words, did you upgrade your
Operating System? If so, how did you upgrade your FrontPage webs? Did you
copy them from a disk, were they still on the same machine, or what? Also,
when you refer to "Making a new page," are you talking about creating a web
site, adding a page TO a web site, or creating a stand-alone HTML document?
If you're talking about a page in a web site, is it a web site on the
machine, or on a remote host? If it's a local web site, is it a file-based
or disk-based web site?

the web, www.mwbt.com is hosted on a remote site. When I
edit the web, i.e, make a new page (fishing tournament
results article) the new page comes up fine, then when I
try to save it FP will hang up. My old computer was fine
running windows NT, now I have a new computer with Windows
2000. It works fine sometimes, but about 50% of the time
the hang up problem occurs. What I am doing now is making
blank pages when I can and saving them for later use.
Thanks for any help!
