FP 2000, Windows 2000NT, often times when I make a new
page and then click on save the system hangs and the hour
glass just stays there. File list won't come up and all I
can do is end task and start over. This just started
occrring when I went to Windows 2000. Any suggestions?

Have you installed all Windows 2000 Service Packs/Updates and Office 2000
Service Packs/Updates?

To assist you in getting the best answers for FrontPage support see:

.

How did you get the webs on to this machine, or was this an upgrade?

If this was an upgrade, from what OS?

Did you have a PWS installed under the old OS, if yes, did you install IIS
under Windows 2000 and check that the extensions where applied?

Do you have a web open, if yes, how are you opening the web?

Have you search for and delete all *.web files?

Delete temp files and the FP Temp folder?

Tom - you are getting way beyond my limited knowledge
now. This is an intermittent problem, and occurs whether
I am at my office or home (same Operating Sytems)
Sometimes it saves great, other times it hangs forever.
the web site is www.mwbt.com , and is hosted by a ISP.

Ok, so this is happen when connecting to a remote server.

First thing to do is to contact your host and ask them to run a check on the
extensions and see if that solves the problem.

What type of internet connection do you have?

dial up at home, T1 line here at work. Happens both
places. Only constant is I "upgraded" to Windows 2000NT
at both locations, and that is when problem began.
