You need to carry out all image editing in an image editor. Frontpage can't

Heather is not asking about image editing... but rather using a background
image and having it be watermarked so text will scroll over it.
Heather did you first save the page after you made the background a
watermark..and then publish your changes?

I tried to find thee page background image that you are trying to use here:
http://www.warringapark.vic.edu.au/images/schoolsign.jpg
I think that is where it should be..because in your code you have called for
the background picture being:
images/schoolsign.jpg
The image though isn't there.
Double check your spelling and case..and also check to see if that image
really is there..but maybe in a different location than your images folder.

and it's is *humongous*...1.1 meg.

OK.
I have tried renaming my folder to images, and I have tried redoing the code
to read photos, but neither of them work properly. I get the picture in the
background (and I will now try & reduce it's size) and I still have all the
formatting as watermark but it doesn't watermark. I am thinking I will scrap
the page & start again

Rob I am very unfamiliar with using HTML code. Which parts tell me I have
used the space bar so I can relate to what you mean & try & fix that up.

Thanks Rob - I had looked at it & sort of thought that was the one I was after
