Saving my database to a different location

I am now using Access 2007. I think I am right that in earlier versions it
was easy to click on 'Save as' and save a copy of your database anywhere you
likes.

Can anyone help me with two questions?

1) When I click on 'Save that' I get a very unhelpful box that doesn't let
me save a copy of the database where I want to - is there a way to do this?

2) Is there a way to set a default location for my access databases?

Many thanks,

Noel

Just copy the database in Windows Explorer. Access doesn't let you
"Save As" a complete database. Only objects (tables, queries,
reports, etc...) can be "Saved As"

Hope this helps,

Ummm... your memory is at fault here. SaveAs has never (since Access 2.0) let
you save an entire database; it lets you save an object IN a database, such as
a form or report.

Just copy or move the .mdb or .accdb file using Windows Explorer.
