In internet explorer, go to file - import export.
click "next" on the wizard.
select "export Favorites" and click next
Select the fovorites folder you want to export. Usually the top level
"favorites" folder to export all favorites
click next
Select export to a file
and put "C:\My Documents\CustomFavorites.htm" [without quotes]
Hit next and then finish.

This will save a HTML file listing all your favorites as web links.
Then you can save or write the file to a CDRW or whatever.

You can also import the favorites back into IE using the same method but
selecting "import Favorites" instead of export Favorites.

THANKS ALAN
Will the export strategy only export a copy and leave the
original in place?

Export them to a single html file with IE-File-Export

Export doesn't alter the originals (which are a single file for each
favorite). It creates a single HTML file of all the favorites.
