saving music files

I have almost 3000 music files. Want to clean up my hard
drive. Any way to save these files other than disks or
floppys ie. internet, Windows Media. New at this so a
little ignorant on computer protocol. <

Burn them to CD-R or DVD-R as "data discs." You're better off if you have a
DVD burner, as your 3000 files may only take up four or five discs. The
option of saving them to floppies is absurd.
