saving movies

Every time I try to save a movie to a CD or Hard Drive it says it cannot
The error message is a bit vague referring to either not finding the source or something.The source was still plugged into the computer and I am at wits end.
 
Try to close all open programs on your computer while you
do this and make sure that MM is the only thing open.
Other programs may be interfering. Also, download
version 2 from the Microsoft website - that may do the
trick. One last thing - if you have an NVidia card like
I do, you may have to download a drive to work with movie
maker.
