Hi there,

It sounds like you're trying to save an MM2 "project",
which is just the "instructions" as to how to create the
movie from your raw video -- you must "render" the movie
in the create function, i.e., "execute" the instructions
in the project file against the raw video file to create
a viewable movie (.mpg file).

I am brand spank'n new to Movie Maker so this may be a
bit of a remedial question for you all.
I am trying to save the *.mswmm file as ANYTHING else so
that others without Movie Maker can see it.
I tried the "save as" to no avail. I tried to open it
in Media Player, Real One and QuickTime and none of them
recognize the file. Did Windows actually make this
product without the ability to play the movies on any
other software? Any insigt here would be great.

Harry,
Ok, could you please tell how you do this? I have the MSWMM file saved to my computer/ my movies. What do I do from there? I have
tried to rename it, to no avail it doesn't work. Is it a setting when creating this file that it allows you to choose what you are
doing? Meaning, what file type you are going to save it as? Any help you have would be great! Thank you,
