I am so confused.. I made a movie about 15 minutes long . I need to be able
to plau it on a dvd player or media player . I dont know how to convert
this. Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not
support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to
compress the file.
please help me i am making this for a party to show on sat.

In Movie Maker try using the "File->Save Movie File" command and selecting
the destination as "My Computer" When the "Save Movie Wizard" completes
making the movie file, it will display a wizard page the includes a checkbox
"Play movie when I click Finish" Make sure that is checked and click "Finish"
at that point Windows Media Player should launch and you can watch you
completed movie. To replace the file later on either pick in from the
recient file list in Windows Media Player or find the .WMV file in explorer
(Start->My Documents) then open "My Videos" then look for the file created
using the "Save Movie Wizard"

It's possible to create a DVD-Video Disc that will playback on a traditional
DVD player / TV combo -- this requires 3rd party software -- see the "DVD
Siftware section" of http://www.papajohn.org for a listing of the various
packages that will do the job.
