My name is Ryan. I work for the Army and am trying to make a movie of
pictures from training events my company performed. I made a 25min slide
show w/audio, but when I try to save it to a computer or disc it saves all of
the audio but only about 1/3 to 1/2 of the pics. The entire audio portion
plays, but after a certain point the pictures stop appearing. Pleae help. I
have to have this slide show done by tommorrow. Thanks.

Hi Ryan,
See the "Can't save a Movie" trouble shooting part of my website in the
"Movie Maker" section.
You will see that the problem is likely either a complexity issue or a
problem because of using MP3 audio. There you will find a step-by-step
tutorial on how to split your movie if the problem is complexity.
Also if the project is nothing but audio and still images then I recommend
using Photo Story 3 to do the job instead of Movie Maker. It is designed for
working with still images while Movie Maker is designed for working with
video. You can download PS3 for free here:

As usual wojo is right on. the first thing I would try rather than starting
over is convert the music to wma or wav files. (personally I have better
luck with wav.) google for mp3 to wav, there are several free converters.
convert all the audio files in your project to wav. re-import them to your
project and add them back to the timeline. more than likely that will solve
your problem
