Can someone help??? I created a slide show in Windows Movie Maker, saved it as DV-AVI to my hard drive. I dragged the DV-AVI file to Sonic DVD (I have version 4.5). It took some time to save, but finally did the saving and burned to my CD. When I put the CD in my DVD player the first screen is there, but I can't get it to play on the DVD. It just sits there.

I figured it out and got it to play on my DVD player, but the pictures are not real clear. What should I do?

VCDs are at the low end of the quality scale. The next one up is SVCD.
Beyond that you need a DVD burner.

Thanks for responding. I have a new Dell computer and it has a 4X DVD+R/RW CD-RW Drive. Isn't this a DVD burner? I am not burning my movie to a DVD, however, I burned it to a CD, creating a VCD. Would the quality of the picture be better when played on the DVD player and watched on TV if I burned to a DVD? What is a SVCD?

In the world of Good, Better, Best ----- it's VCD, SVCD and then DVD

SVCD is Super-VCD

For NTSC:

VCD is 352x240 pixels
SVCD is 480x480 pixels
DVD is 720x480 pixels
