When I move mail to a private folder, I lose the text. When I subsequently
review the e-mail I moved, the text has gone, and I only get the text of the
predessor e-mail in the private folder, ie: all the e-mails in the one folder
have different titles, but all have the same text.

Anyone have any explanations?

Hi, I am having a similar problem: yesterday I had my mailbox all set up with
many folders where I store e-mails for later use, I transfered over 300
e-mails from my old computer to this new one, stored them in the various
folders in windows mail; when I looked in later on every message I had stored
was gone! the folders are empty, eventhough next to the folders name, for
example 'Miscelaneous 13', showing that 13 messages were entered/moved to
this folder, none are there! when I try to enter the folder a message
appears: an error has occured when checking your pop.att.yahoo account. What
happened here? Also, yesterday I had a folder called 'junk mail' in my inbox,
it showed 41 messages, when I tried to look inside it would not let me, a
little red 'x' was on top the folder. Today that folder has disappeared,
don't know what happened there either. Help...Eleonore

Found out that the problem only exists in folders imported from Outlook.
Things are ok if it is just Windows Mail, but trying to mix Mail with old
imported Outlook mail seems to cause all kinds of weird things to occur. I
guess I have to virtually scrap all my old archived mail, as I can't think of
a way around this.
