Saving large movie

Hi,
I am making a movie consisting of pictures,music and transitions. When I go
to save (either on my hd,back to the camera or onto a cd (the finished
project is about 450 mb) it will begin saving but always ends up saying it
could not be saved. I have 1 gig of RAM and 98 GB of free space on my hd so I
am wondering just how much memory movie maker needs to save an hour long
movie. I've made short movies before and saved with no problem but am
wondering if I will need to save the movie in parts as described in another
post?

I guess what I'm really asking is if Movie maker is cabable of saving such a
movie at once and something in my system is screwy?
