saving .gif files with other files so windows media player can open it

I used the paint program and made 7 different gif images then in the same collection imported music from cd and other image files and when I try to open them windows media player does not support gifs I think so what should I do to view and hear my movie I made
 
Bob,

After importing them into Movie Maker and adding them to a project, you need
to save the Movie... and it's the movie you'll watch in the player.

Thanks a bunch it worked the problem I did was saving project not the save movies Icon sure appreciate your help
